Here we are!

Yesterday was 6 months since my Dad's death. It was a really hard day for all of us, (Mom, Julie, Leroy, Bri, Stac, Rex and I). It was weird because although it was an extremely sad day for me I realized that the rest of the world was not affected. So my family and I did the only thing we know how to do. We loved each other, cried and laughed. We went to one of Dad's favorite restaurants. Everyone represented him in some way. It is a wonderful feeling to look at my family and see my Dad's spirit live on in each one of us. I miss him everyday, but I know he is not far away. Jake looks just like him! Life is Good and we need to keep on living. We have had an amazing summer. Brian got married, we bought a van and a tent trailer. We had a few fun adventures. I look forward to many more in the tent trailer. I love being a mommy. My boys truly light up my world. Jake has a smile that is infectious. He is a happy chubby baby. Ry is going on the big boy potty!!!!! I cried the first time he went, I realized that my little boy is growing up. Life goes by so fast, so here we are.
